Moving

Sorry, no pictures, just an update...

The closing on the new house went through without a hitch! Since then, we have been cleaning, painting, packing and slowly moving over odd items that we don't need on a regular basis. The big move is the Saturday morning, so this week the packing has gotten into full swing. Ruth does her fair share to help, by either going behind me and unpacking boxes before I can get them taped up, or by putting random objects into the boxes that I am packing. I suppose when I open up our good china and find a Lego crammed inside a coffee cup, it will be no surprise!

During one day of cleaning at the new home, Ruth watched as we took down each individual blind from the window tracks and removed a piece of fabric that the previous owner had used to help color coordinate the rooms. She understood very well what we were doing and proceeded to go into other rooms and begin ripping blinds off the track. Our need for new track pieces prompted one of many trips to Home Depot!
