Time is Flying...

Where has the month gone? Really and truly it seems like I just posted a January review, and now here we are one week away from the end of February.

Our new house is coming along great! All the steps are going very smoothly, and we are set to close on the 29th of February. We've already bought a few new furnishings (thank you Craigslist), as well as sold some things that just won't fit in the new house (thank you Craigslist). On President's Day, Home Depot ran a great sale on paint, so we stocked up on basic white. After we get the keys and are able to make some color decisions, we will take it back to be colored.

Ruth has just started to learn the word "home." Poor thing is gonna be a bit confused in a few weeks. She is also starting to put two words together, typically "Ma" (mama) and then something else...
"Ma, juice"... "Ma, oov" (movie)... "Ma, eesh" (cheese)"..."Ma, naaa" (snack)... "Ma, mo" (more)... you get the point. We tend to use the phrase "don't touch" with her more than "no," so it comes as no surprise that she now says "don tu" (don't touch) in response to being disciplined.

My belly is slowly growing; a constant reminder that in addition to our life of church activities and new homes, we are in fact preparing for a new arrival! I will say that our life is much busier this time around, and we have to make a conscious effort to spend quality time praying for and planning for the new baby.

Alright, and now what you have really been waiting for (and probably scrolled through all the gibberish up above)... here are some pictures. Most of these are from when Cam's folks visited at the beginning of the month, and then a couple from Valentine's Day.

What a great time you've been having! And Ruth is getting so tall!

The Great Explorations place looks a lot like the Magic House here. Lots of fun ...
