On Friday, Carol, Paul and Bradley (my aunt, uncle and cousin) came to visit for the weekend (following my mom's Thursday arrival). Friday night our church participated in a community-wide Good Friday service. Saturday, we went to an Easter Fair at church, where Ruth did crafts, played with live bunnies, and played carnival type games. Sunday, we had a church service at the beach, then came home to an evening of grilling steaks and roasting marshmallows, and of course letting Ruth look for Easter eggs in the backyard. This was her first time ever doing an egg hunt and she was a pro. We were really surprised at how quickly she caught on to the concept. We weren't surprised at how quickly she ripped open every egg to find the fruit snacks inside!!
I really was HORRIBLE about photos the entire weekend. I wish I had remembered to use my camera more, but here are a few that I took:
Saturday: Easter Fair

Sunday: tuckered out on the way home from the beach

Sunday: egg hunt in the backyard

Sunday: Brad and Ruth visiting with the sand cranes who tour the neighborhood every afternoon

Carols and family left Monday afternoon, then my Dad arrived on Thursday. With him here we had a whirlwind weekend of cleaning and playing and shopping and organizing and golfing and eating. But the highlight was Cam and Greg building shelves and shelves and more shelves (garage storage, built-in family room bookcase, master bedroom closet). They look great, and now we will be able to finish unpacking the last few boxes (someday!)
Cam's mom arrives later this week and the house projects will continue!!

I can't believe how big Ruth is getting! She's a little girl now!. Love seeing the pictures, but Kristy, where's a pic of baby bump #2? Hope you're doing well settling into your new home!!!
