Many of you have been asking what Ruth is saying these days. Well, "Mama" and "Dada" are very clear and discriminate. If you listen closely enough, you can pick out a few other words like "shoes," "juice" (which applies to anything in her sippy cup at this point), "dog", and a form of either "all done" or all gone" we aren't sure which it is yet.
In addition, even though our friend David no longer lives with us, she has, apparently, begun to master German as she uses the word "toll" quite often :-)
And last but not least, she frequently says "wow" which has made Cameron and I very aware of how often we use the word! (She said "wow" after EVERY present that she opened at Christmas... it was hilarious!)
