Kansas in July

After literally hundreds of requests from Ruth and a 2-week countdown on the calendar, we took a summer trip to Kansas to visit my sister and her family... and most importantly Ruth was able to see her cherished cousins!

Ruth, Will and Ella never even hinted that they had been apart for almost 8 months; and Joseph and Emily managed to socialize as well as any one-year-olds!

The week consisted of play centers, backyard fun, the Kaleidoscope Center, water parks and the like. And, somewhere in between, Kim and I manged to steal a few minutes alone to shop and chit-chat, as well as one double-date night with our husbands (thanks mom!)

Inevitably, we forgot to pack our camera, so we stole the artistic work of Kim and Doug as they graciously documented pieces of our time together. (for more photos visit Greg and Kitty's blog)
