And, we're back!

(click on any picture to see it larger)
We've been swamped with fun visitors from both families and various states, we've been battling viruses, and we've been busy. But, we're back on track now, and trying to get you caught up on the last month. Enjoy...

Joseph is 5 1/2 months old and such a easy, happy baby. My mom made a comment that best describes his temperament: "Kristy if you ever tell me that you accidentally left him in the car, I won't be the least bit surprised. You hardly know he's there."

He is not always quiet, though. He babbles if you engage him, and has twice now called out "dada" while getting himself to sleep. (Cameron was pleased!)

One of, if not THE highlight of Joseph's day is at about 8:01pm (Ruth goes to bed at 8pm). For now, Joseph stays up with us until about 10pm and then sleeps through the night. So, from 8pm-10pm he has his parents' undivided attention and free reign of the toys. One night, Ruth was so tired she forgot to take her dog to bed:

As much fun as it is to play with Ruth's toys, it is more fun to play with Ruth!

Speaking of Ruth, she is still working through the ups and downs of potty training, as well as learning her colors, and learning to count. She can count from 1-10 and we are working on 11-20. One thing Ruth LOVES to do is help with anything in the kitchen. If you working are in the kitchen, she will haul a chair over from the breakfast table, climb up on it and say "I wan hup." Some of her favorite activities are washing dishes, putting cut vegetables into their designated pans on the stove, and juicing.

This time of year being citrus season, we juice fairly often. For some reason on this day, she needed to wear sunglasses?!?

And, ever daddy's girl, Ruth enjoys keeping up with the latest on Wallstreet....
