In the Basket

Today, Ruth learned how to climb into her toy basket... hopefully, tomorrow, she will learn how to climb out! (Incidentally, if you click on the picture, this is a great shot of her "toothy" smile!)


In addition to this marvelous feat, Ruth is also learning to feed herself. She does well with Cheerios, potatoes, and wheat bread; and is beginning to master messy things, like banana chunks.

Whenever she does something well, we clap for her. So, along with learning to feed herself... she has now learned to clap. She loves it! She will clap with us when she does something well, and then she will become even more excited and clap because she can clap-- it is a hilarious cycle.
